Rotary Club gives away hundreds of hams, turkeys at Manna House for Christmas meals

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) - The Manna House and the Rotary Club of Greater Huntsville teamed up to help those who need extra help during the holidays.

The two organizations gave away hundreds of hams and turkeys on Monday.  Families were able to get go inside Manna House and pick up the food they need to prepare dinner for the holidays.

"This year the Rotary Club decided to come out tonight and bless 260 families with already cooked turkey and already cooked hams and we are so grateful for that," said Fran Fluhler, Director of Manna House.

The head of the Landers McLarty auto family donated money to buy the hams and turkeys.
