HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) --  Huntsville Police and rescue crews responded to the scene of a  shooting at P&T Trailers on Highway 53 Monday evening.

It happened around 7:30 p.m. near Blake Bottom Road.

Employees were working after hours at the trailer outlet when two men came into the store.

Police say the front door was locked and the men likely entered through a bay door looking to rob the local business.

Officials say at least one of them had a gun and shot an employee in the leg at least once.

The victim was transported to Huntsville Hospital.

Police say another worker tried to chase the suspects as they ran from the store, but lost track of them.

Police also brought K-9 unites to the scene, but no arrests have been made.

Investigators are also working with the owner of P&T Trailers to determine if surveillance video of the incident exists.
