DAVENPORT, Fla. - A school bus driver from Florida is being held a hero after she safely got close to 40 students off a bus before it burst into flames.

The bus was on I-4 in Polk County when the driver, also a math teacher, says she saw smoke coming from the back of the bus.   Kristina Buhrman pulled over just in time to call 911.

The driver and all 38 middle school-aged students were able to get off the bus before the fire.

"I didn't do anything any other teacher wouldn't do," Buhrman told WESH-TV.
