Not sure whether you should fly or drive? Check out this calculator.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Millions of Americans visit friends and family during the holidays. Often it’s clear cut whether they should fly or drive to get there.

Sometimes though, when a traveler is headed to a city say, several hours away, the choice is less obvious.

So should you fly, or drive?’s “Fly or Drive Calculator™” may help you decide.

It’s pretty easy to use.

Just type in some basic information about your trip – where you’re headed, what dates and how many are going.

Then, input your car’s make and model information, along with how many hours you plan to spend on the road daily.

Under flight data, you’ll input your airports and account for any additional fees you may incur.

After plugging in a few more details, you’ll get a results comparison, showing what it would cost you (in time and money) to fly or drive.

Happy travels!
