Fall is synonymous with football in America. Thanksgiving marks a time each November when football really takes hold. Many fans capitalize on their free time playing in informal pick-up football games with friends. Over time these games have become known as “Turkey Bowls,” a salute to the Thanksgiving holiday food of choice.

Walter Jones’ Turkey Bowl takes the annual Fall Football tradition to the next level with a competitive format for the great cause of benefiting charity.

The Second Annual  Walter Jones Flag Football tournament kicks off November 22nd and 23rd at Milton Frank Stadium.  Sixteen teams, ten players on each team, will play a minimum of two games and compete for the Turkey Bowl title.

All proceeds raised from sponsor will go to benefit HEALS, Inc.

The HEALS mission is to keep children healthy and optimize their opportunities for success in school and society.

Also, mark your calendars for a Dinner with Walter Jones on Thursday, November 20th at Sidelines Pub & Grub.  Make a donation of $10 to HEALS, Inc. at the door for autographs and photos with Mr. Jones.  Guests can purchase food and beverage as well.
