MADISON, Ala. (WHNT)– Bryant Dental will begin their Halloween Candy Buy-Back November 3-6 from 8 am-5 pm.

They buy the candy back from donors for $1 per pound, or up to $5 per donor.

The bought-back candy will be sent to US Military troops through the organization Operation Gratitude.

The dentist’s office is asking donors to also write thank-you letters  to the troops. There are letter-writing stations and candy collections at their Decatur (Stratford Road), Madison (County Line Road), and Huntsville (Bob Wallace Avenue) locations.

“We love our troops,” said Dr. Forrest Bryant, “And we love to support our troops.”

In true dentist fashion, Bryant said included in the troops’ care packages will also be toothbrushes.

In addition, Bryant Dental will donate a dollar per pound of candy collected to The Wounded Warrior Project.

They collected 575 pounds of candy during the Candy Buy-Back project.
