2014 Wild & Scenic Film Festival showing at Flying Monkey November 7th

The Wild & Scenic Film Festival,the United States' largest environmental film event, is coming the the Flying Monkey Arts Center at Lowe Mills on Friday November 7th.

These award-winning independent films are about nature, outdoor adventure, conservation issues and community solutions. They appeal to all ages.

Using beautiful cinematography and first-rate story-telling, the films inform, inspire, and even make you laugh. They motivate you to go out and make a difference in your community and the world. It’s a festival for activists by activists.  One of the main themes for the 2014 showing will be Energy/Climate Change.

Popcorn, cookies, chips, salsa, and soft drinks will be served.

Doors open at 6:30 pm.  Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students and military.
