MADISON, Ala. (WHNT) – Not many people over the age of 100 years are still up for long road trips but one woman made quite a drive to visit her great-grandson.

Lucille Hodges, of Illinois, who is 109 years old traveled to Madison to see her great-grandson Dylan Meyer march in the Bob Jones Marching Band.

Thank you Lucille Hodges for visiting the Tennessee Valley.

I wish the person who took her picture would have had a better aim. What I can see of her, she looks great for 109 years old. She looks to be in her 80s. She reminds me of my grandmother who looked like she was in her 70s when she was in her 90s.

Forget my prior comments about someone’s aim, and click on the picture to see her. She still looks about 30 years younger than her biological age.
