MADISON COUNTY, Ala. - Spay and Neuter Action Project (SNAP) is an organization fighting to prevent pet overpopulation.  This organization serves Madison County by informing pet owners about the importance of having your pet spayed or neutered.

SNAP also offers financial help to pet owners that cannot afford to have their pet spayed or neutered. The funds are limited, but the goal is to help as many pet owners as possible. SNAP hopes to expand the amount of people they offer their serves to, but they need your help.

On Oct 11, SNAP is having a fundraiser called "SNAP on TAP." It will be held at the Straight to Ale Brewery on Leeman Ferry Road in Huntsville. The event starts at 6 p.m. and last until 9 p.m. There will be live music featuring "Microwave Dave." There will also be a silent auction.

Tickets are $20 at the door.  If you purchase tickets in advance, they are $15.
