HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) - The 40th Annual Taste of Huntsville will bring more than 30 restaurants and beverage vendors to the Von Braun Center's South Hall on October 16th.

Organizers made the announcement Thursday. They also announced the beneficiaries of this year's event. They are the Court Appointed Juvenile Advocate (CAJA) program of Madison County and Family Services Center.

CAJA  volunteers are appointed by judges as Officers of the Court to objectively investigate child abuse and neglect cases.  Often, they are the only consistent source of support for children during the court process.

Family Services Center provides a number of programs to assist the working poor in the Greater Huntsville area, from counseling and education services to help with job transportation.

Both non-profits will receive proceeds from ticket sales. Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 at the door.

Tickets are available online here. They may also be purchased at the VBC box office, at the Huntsville/Madison County Convention & Visitors Bureau or by calling (877) 510-0008.

Free parking will be available in the South Hall parking garage, until the garage is full.
