HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Good news — a traffic light damaged in a morning wreck on Memorial Parkway has been repaired.  Crews worked on it throughout the day to lessen the impact on drivers Wednesday afternoon and evening.

The traffic light at Lily Flagg Road was damaged during a wreck that happened around 8 a.m.  A vehicle smashed into the control panel on a utility pole, which was also damaged.

Traffic engineering and Huntsville Utilities crews were on site for most of Wednesday to make repairs.

Two people sustained minor injuries in the wreck.  Two cars and a SUV were involved.  It slowed traffic in the southbound lanes of Memorial Parkway and on Lily Flagg crossing the Parkway.
