Madison driver needs help at a dangerous intersection

Two things to note. Capshaw Road in Madison County is heavily traveled, Lynch Road isn't.  But for the drivers who do use Lynch the experience of turning off their road on to Capshaw isn't one they like. "You can't see to the right. You can see to the left. You can't see to the right," says Jessie White.

The problem, says Jessie, is a tree that's growing right next to Capshaw. For drivers trying to pull out of Lynch, the tree gets in the way of seeing oncoming traffic from the right. You can see the cars and trucks, but not till the last few yards. "You have to gas it, and hope you make it," says Jessie on handling the intersection.

We agree with Jessie that the offending tree does block the line of sight. He says something needs to be done about it, and we agree. We also agree with his advice to anyone pulling out of Lynch Road, "You better be careful," says Jessie.

We're taking action and talking to Madison County traffic officials about the problem.
