Madison, Ala. - (WHNT) It's often said that the way to any man's heart is through his stomach. James Clemens running back Maceo Booker may not be looking for a relationship along the offensive line, but he sure knows how to keep those guys motivated.

"One time I told them if they get me to 200 I would take them to McDonalds and we went out to eat after that game.  I think the closer I am to them the better we are together."

That unit is keeping Booker upright, and giving him a chance to make a statement as one of the area's best backs.

"I think he would be the first to tell you he is a product of whats around him and whats in front of him," head coach Wade Waldrop said about his talented running back.  "I'm sure he would tell you how grateful he is about the guys in front of him opening holes."

There have been plenty of those to run though so far this season. Booker leads the team with 11 touchdowns and nearly 800 yards.
