FLORENCE, Ala. (WHNT) – Florence Boulevard is back open.  Much of it was closed for a few hours Tuesday morning while crews repaired a gas line.

Construction crews hit a natural gas line while digging in the area.  As a result, Florence Boulevard was closed from Shenandoah to Hough for about two hours.

The road reopened shortly around 12:30 p.m.
