(WHNT) – Steve Mack, the director of golf at Hampton Cove, is here to help your game with these tips in our weekly 19th Hole segment.

When you hit a ball in a bunker whether its buried or just laying there, your first goal is to get it out of the bunker.

You have to line up the closed face of the club and then we`re going to swing keeping the club moving, be sure to hit about two inches behind the ball.

You`re going to have to put some force behind the swing because the ball is buried in the sand.
