AUBURN, Ala. – Just how much are you willing to pay to see the Iron Bowl in person?

Tickets to the annual Alabama-Auburn rivalry game are going for a median price of $535, while the minimum price for a ticket is $275 according to statistics released by Forbes.com.

The Crimson Tide holds five spots on the list of the 25 most expensive games. The team also has the biggest impact on road games, with a 176% increase over opponent’s average home ticket prices.

What do you think about these prices? Is it getting too expensive for the average family to go to the game? How much would you pay to go see the game?

Now pay the pro football players of the SEC what they deserve for making 100’s of millions of $$$ for the SEC colleges and the SEC Commissioners!

Let me think about it… 2 tickets for me and my girlfriend = $1070. For that price, I can buy a new 60 inch LED flat screen TV, spend the other $250 on food and drinks, invite friends over and watch the game in the comfort of my own home with instant replays, DVR, Heat/AC, no parking issues or traffic jams to fight, nearby clean restrooms, and still have a new TV the next day… unless Bama wins and I throw the remote thru the TV! War Eagle!!
