Court documents show that a date for the plea has been set for August 5.

Iqbal Memon was tried for Hindering Prosecution in April.  After two days of deliberation, the jury was unable to reach a unanimous verdict, causing the judge to declare a mistrial. Memon’s second trial was scheduled to start on September 8.

Memon’s attorney also confirmed the plea date, but would not comment further on it.

I can understand the charges being leveled at this man. However, at some point, enough is enough. His son is in prison, his wife’s been found guilty of her charges. He’s been thru his own trial. Enough punishment has been meted out to this family. He’s suffered…. I don’t condone the charges if true… but the proof is iffy… and has proven so. He’s been tried over and over… j We’ve gotten our pound of flesh.. time to move on.
