HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) - Does your child struggle with math? Looking for a way to get them more excited about practicing equations? You might try Math Blaster's apps.

Viewer Hannah Lowe recommended Math Blaster for WHNT News 19 This Morning's "Click Picks" Back to School apps showcase happening the week of July 28th.

The Math Blaster website actually features a number of different apps - each with a different math-related focus. Each app also has different availability on Apple and Android devices.

Math Blaster® HyperBlast 2 from maker Knowledge Adventure, teaches math through an exciting tunnel race.

To play, just navigate your character through the tunnel (by turning your device) and blast objects out of the way. Eventually, you'll reach an "Alien Boss" that's really a math monster - asking a number of math-related questions.

The more correct answers you give, the more points you'll total and the farther you'll go in the game. You can also unlock new weapons, ammo and more levels.

HyberBlast 2 is free to download for Apple devices. It's available for $4.99 through the Amazon app store for Android and also as a Nook app.
