HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) - The skies around Huntsville were filled with airplanes and copters Saturday, all flying to support a great cause here on the ground.

The Rocket City Radio Controllers hosted a contest with radio controlled aircraft. Proceeds from the event support Wounded Warrior projects.

The club's airstrip is named in honor of Marine Corps fighter pilot Captain James Trey Wilbourn who was shot down over Kuwait during the 1991 Gulf War.
