Phoenix Seeks to Assist Individuals with Disabilities

Phoenix is a nonprofit business that provides jobs, job placements and other services for people with disabilities.

Through the efforts of it's 700 employees, Phoenix manufactures at least 15 percent of the burial flags the government gives to military families, along with parachute harnesses for the Army, carrying straps and equipment bags for the TOW missile, and high-quality embroidered products for businesses, churches and other organizations. Phoenix also serves Redstone Arsenal by performing the groundskeeping and janitorial services and supplying administrative support.

These programs are designed to accomplish the mission of improving the lives of people Phoenix serves. The primary focus is assisting and enabling individuals to reach their personal vocational potential and goals.

Phoenix wants our community to be free of employment and social barriers. They seek to assist individuals, primarily those with disabilities, to improve the quality of their lives.
