TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WHNT) - Alabama rising junior running back Kenyan Drake was arrested early Saturday morning and charged with one misdemeanor count of obstructing governmental operations.

Drake's vehicle was parked inside a crime scene and he ignored orders to stay outside the scene, Tuscaloosa Police Spokesman Sgt. Brent Blankley told

"He was trying to cross a crime scene," Blankley said. "We had a shooting and his vehicle was parked inside the crime scene. We told him that he could not get his vehicle and he tried to cross the crime scene anyway so he could get his vehicle. Officers arrested him for obstructing government operations."

One has to wonder why this young man choose to directly disobey an order at a crime scene…was it what he had in his vehicle or???

Like I said in the other thread, not necessarily. Police can tape off an entire block or more when it comes to a major crime scene investigation. Drake’s car was likely just in the wrong place at the wrong time. He likely made a simply bad decision in trying to retrieve his vehicle against police orders.
