Arrests continue in heroin trafficking ring with Shoals connection

FLORENCE, Ala. (WHNT) – Arrests continue to happen in a multi-jurisdictional heroin trafficking ring from last week.

Lauderdale County Drug Task Force agents have arrested 25-year-old Joshua Creed Hyde.

Hyde was spotted near a Florence housing development on Sunday and charged with conspiracy to distribute heroin.  At the time of his arrest, agents say he had needles and prescription pain packs in a backpack.

Drug Task Force agents continue to search for four more people with arrest warrants.
