SCOTTSBORO, Ala. (WHNT) --  National Weather Service scientists confirms damage left in the wake of a fast-moving storm that hit Jackson County Tuesday afternoon just before 2:00 p.m., was caused by a tornado.

There were no tornado watches or warnings issued for the storm because forecasters say it developed in between radar scans and happened so quickly they did not have time to issue the alerts.

No injuries were reported with this storm but at least two mobile homes in the K&K Trailer Park were knocked off their blocks and moved several feet by winds. Trees were down for a wide path cut through neighborhoods along the storm's path.
