LAUDERDALE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) - Jeff Grigsby lives in Lauderdale County. Living out in the county comes with it advantages, but it also has disadvantages. Grimsby was a customer with United Propane Gas for two years.

'It was a great price. But the only problem was delivery. I rarely could get delivery on time. I ran out of gas several times. I decided to change companies to a more reliable company. When I did, I called UPG and told them to come pick up their tank. That was 8 years ago,' said Grigsby.

After 8 years and countless phone calls, the company picked up the tank and left Grigsby with a surprise.

'I get a bill for $375 dollars for a tank pick up fee,' said Grigsby.

Grigsby claims the company never said anything about the fee. He wanted answers and called the corporation.

'I got recording, up on top of recording, up on top of recording. I`ve left messages and I have not received the first reply,' said Grigsby.

He then contacted us. We took action for him and called the local UPG offices.  We were able to speak with the office managers at two different locations in the Tennessee Valley.

They said all customers know about the pickup fee and if we were interested in more information we had to call corporate offices. We called several times and got recordings.

UPG has yet to respond back to us. We will keep you update as we continue to take action for you.
