LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) - Thursday's storm brought heavy rain and winds to different areas of the Tennessee Valley.

This video is from Rebecca Newbill - she recorded it around 4:30 p.m. Thursday, June 5 on Ingram Road in Tanner.  She posted it on the WHNT News 19 Facebook page.

It looks to be a 'gustnado,' which forms because of shear within the outflow of a thunderstorm, according to WHNT News 19 Chief Meteorologist Jason Simpson.

Jason says a gustnado produces small swirls, almost like a dust devil.
