Teenager Seriously Hurt After Being Hit by Car

LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — A teenage boy is in the hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a car.

It happened just after 6:00 p.m. in Limestone County. Witnesses say the boy was walking home along Elk River Mill Road when he stepped in the way of two vehicles. The first was able to miss him, but the second did not stop in time. They say the boy was thrown into the air and seems to have serious injuries to his legs and head.

Paramedics with Medflight flew the teen to Huntsville Hospital.

State Troopers are investigating. No charges have been filed.

      Hi Mrs. Taylor i go to school with Preston and he is a really great guy and funny to i used to love hanging out with him in p.e and when i heard about him getting hurt like this i was completly shocked about what happened and i have been really worried about him and i hope he is doing great and will be back on his feet soon and i will continue to pray for him
