Prattville, Ala. - (WHNT) The Muscle Shoals Lady Trojans golf team overcame a three stroke deficit after day one to capture the 1A-5A state golf championship. The team a two day total score of 472 which is 15 strokes better than 2nd place Alexandria.

Ardmore senior Lee Hodges comes home as a medalist for shooting the lowest two day round of any 4A boys competitor. Hodges who finished the tournament at even par will play his college golf next season at UAB.

UMS Wright won the 4A boys team championship Tuesday, just ahead of Guntersville who you can see by this photo is still very with being the runner-ups.

Guntersville GolfFort Payne’s Zac McCurdy was low medalist in 5A with a 72-71—143 total. His 71 was the low round Tuesday afternoon.
