Lady Chargers Beat Rollins Twice, Advance to Super Regional

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) - Celebrating its second walk-off victory in as many days, the top-seeded UAH softball team defeated Rollins twice on Sunday in the NCAA South 1 Regional to earn its fourth trip in the last six years to the NCAA South Super Regional. The Chargers won a pair of one-run games at Charger Park, winning 6-5 in game one and 5-4 in eight innings in game two to remain alive in the postseason.

UAH (47-10) came through in the clutch once again, winning the second game of the day after entering the seventh and final inning trailing by two runs at 4-2 and its season hanging in the balance. Five out of the seven batters in the bottom of the seventh inning reached base for the Chargers, including five hits and a sacrifice fly.
