Fallen Officers To Be Honored Wednesday on Steps of Madison County Courthouse

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – The Fraternal Order of Police in Madison County will hold a ceremony on Wednesday evening to honor the 22 law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty here.

This is for the annual Peace Officers Memorial Ceremony. The event will be May 7 at 6:30 p.m. on the southside of the Madison County Courthouse, in front of the fallen officers memorial.

Surviving family members will attend, and place a flower in front of the memorial.

The public is welcome to attend, to show support for the fallen officers and their families.
