ATM Stolen from Convenience Store

MADISON COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) – Madison County Deputies are looking for two men who broke into a convenience store and stole an ATM.

A witness claims to have seen the two men in the Stop and Save on Highway 53 North of Jeff Road around 1:45 Monday morning.

The passerby called 911 thinking the store was being robbed.

Deputies arrived to find an ATM had been stolen along with several cartons of cigarettes. Officers believe the men loaded the ATM into a vehicle and drove off.

The case is still under investigation.
