HARTSELLE, Ala. (WHNT)   A person had to be flown to Huntsville Hospital after a Sunday afternoon wreck in Hartselle.   It happened on Main Street at the intersection with Halbrooks Road.

Police say one car going east attempted to make a left turn onto Halbrooks Road when it was rear ended by another vehicle.

Firefighters had to cut the driver of the first vehicle out of the car.   That person was later flown to Huntsville Hospital.  Paramedics treated the driver of the second car on the scene.

Traffic was backed up on Main Street for about an hour.
