Grissom Sent Home With 9-5 Loss to Hillcrest

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) - Fourth-ranked Hillcrest-Tuscaloosa rallied from a 5-4 deficit in the top of the seventh inning to score five runs and beat Grissom 9-5 in Game 3 of their quarterfinal 6A matchup.

According to al.com, Hillcrest senior Austin Williams started the rally with a single that scored Riley Nix and tied the game 5-5 with one out. Junior Bradford Shaw came up next and doubled down the left field line to clear the bases and give Hillcrest a commanding 8-5 lead.
