Governor Bentley Visits Storm-Damaged Areas in Limestone County

LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) - Governor Robert Bentley visited Limestone County on Wednesday to tour damage from this week's severe weather.

Governor Bentley toured Billy Barb's Mobile Home Park on Highway 72 West, where two people, a mother and son, died after a tornado struck that mobile home park

The Limestone County Coroner’s office identified them as 60-year-old Dorothy Jean Hollis and 34-year-old Carlton Earl Hollis.

Governor Bentley held a news conference at a community safe room behind the Clements Volunteer Fire Department, and discussed the state's response and effort to get federal aid.
