Alabama Association for Justice Members Offer Free Advice for Insurance Claims

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Alabama Association for Justice (ALAJ) announced Wednesday its “Lawyers Care” program to assist Alabama residents affected by this week’s severe weather.

ALAJ ‘s “Lawyers Care” will match anyone affected by the storms with a local attorney who can answer insurance-related questions and assist with filing insurance claims.

Those needing help through the free “Lawyers Care” program can fill out a request online at or by phone at (334) 262-4974.

“Our hearts go out to everyone impacted by these storms, and we offer our prayers and time to help in the recovery process,” said Jeff Rickard, President of the ALAJ. “‘Lawyers Care’ is about helping our fellow Alabamians get back on their feet.”

“The insurance process can be difficult and frustrating, especially when its your home and belongings caught in the middle,” said Ginger Avery, Executive Director of ALAJ. “Our lawyer members at the Alabama Association for Justice want to help make that process easier at no cost to the victims.”

Again, there will be no charge for this help.
