FAYETTEVILLE, Tenn. (WHNT) – Fayetteville Police are investigating a shooting that happened Tuesday evening in an apartment complex.

It happened at 408 Calhoun Avenue.  Police say a man knocked on the door of one of the units and then shot another man who was inside.

The victim was shot in the back.  He was flown by helicopter to a Nashville hospital for treatment, and is recovering, according to police.  His name has not been released yet.

Police say the two men were arguing prior to the shooting.

A woman was inside the apartment, but we understand she wasn’t hurt.

As of Thursday morning, police said they were still trying to track down the suspect.

Says the man who feels the need to change his screen name after all the comical things he has said… I guess that is the result of realizing that just about every single person who reads the “facts” you post thinks you are a true moron. Keep on posting and maybe we will all wake up and follow you lol

Says the man who had to change his screen name so people would actually bother reading the bull he posts. Lol, what a joke you are…

Hahha yeah, just because “wake up” or whichever name he chooses to use at any given moment is an old man who has nothing better to do than spread his liberal views doesn’t mean he has to act like this. It’s quite embarrassing…
