Man Arrested in Huntsville Armed Robbery

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Huntsville Police arrested a man for a Sunday morning robbery at a local motel.   Huntsville Police say 32-year-old Jakeel Adonis Shager robbed the front desk clerk at the America’s Best Inn on North Memorial Parkway.

Reports say Shager approached the victim and asked for a cigarette.  The victim said Shager then told him he had a gun and took money from the motel cash register.

Officers arrested Shager in a grocery store parking lot.  He’s been charged with first degree robbery.
