HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – We had some calls and emails to the WHNT News 19 newsroom Friday about loud booms being heard, and felt, in the Huntsville area.

Dan O’Boyle at the Redstone Arsenal Public Affairs Office says Redstone will be conducting testing today that will include several loud shots.

The low cloud cover will cause the noise to be louder than normal.

The testing will be taking place until about 2 p.m.

Oh sorry. I guess that the people working and making money must have woke you up from your nap. Go back to sleep and wait for your free check to come in.

I happened to be home to hear it because I am recovering from surgery. Just because someone heard the booms doesn’t mean they are sitting on their a$$ waiting for a check!
My job allows me to hear the booms on a regular basis anyways & I love it! STOP BEING SO NEGATIVE.
