Authorities Investigate Fatal Accident Between Car & ATV

LAUDERDALE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) – Lauderdale County Sheriff Ronnie Willis reports one person is dead after a car hit an ATV at County Road 6 and County Road 200 Thursday evening.

According to Willis, two people were on the ATV when it collided with a car around 5:30 p.m. One female from the ATV was found dead at the scene. Deputies are currently searching for the second person on the ATV.

Alabama State Troopers are on the scene, assisting with the investigation.

    Person driving ATV sped through intersection to beat car and dumped passenger in road then an SUV hit her and everyone left the scene. ATV driver came back and was arrested.
