(WHNT) – Attention parents! We’re having an an all-call for Sketch the Sky entries!

The weather in the Tennessee Valley brings us everything from bright sunny skies to cold rain showers, severe weather and beautiful spring days.

We’re inviting your kids to capture the weather in an original drawing. Just have your children take a look out the window and draw what they see with their favorite crayons or color pencils. Every day on WHNT News 19 at 5:00 p.m. we feature a different sketch.

We now accept tablet entries! Just have your kids use their favorite art app and email us the final product.

Send us your kids’ entries and they could be featured next on Sketch the Sky!

Once per month, the children whose pictures are featured on Sketch the Sky are invited to a party with one of our meteorologists.

To submit your child’s sketch, email it to or mail it to 200 Holmes Avenue, Huntsville, AL 35801. Be sure to include your child’s name, telephone number, city and state along with the sketch. Watch WHNT News 19 at 5:00 p.m. every weeknight to see if your child’s sketch is featured on Sketch the Sky!
