GADSDEN, Ala. (WHNT) – The Etowah County Sheriff’s Office has charged a Gadsden man in connection to a child pornography investigation.

Dennis Jerome Brown, Jr., 49, was arrested Thursday and charged with one count of possession of child pornography.

Investigators found evidence of child porn on a computer in Brown’s home when they seized the device in January.  Brown was arrested on drug warrants at the time.

“This is a terrible crime that has been committed against children, who at this time, have not been identified. We do not need these types of individuals on the streets of our county,” Sheriff Todd Entrekin said. “I am proud of our investigators for the work they did in this case. We have some of the toughest sex offender laws in the nation and I anticipate their use against this predator.”

Brown is currently in the Etowah County Jail.  His bond is set at $30,000.

Did he make the video or whatever or was it something he downloaded for his own ‘pleasure’ that was already on there on the internet? I’ve never understood this. If so, is it his problem or the people that manage the website that he gets it from? Why aren’t they apprehended?. The internet is full of s****t. I hate it that he like child porn but ….all sides have to be considered.
