CLAYSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — Craig Tallie Hayes, 31, of Arab is in the Marshall County jail charged with making a terrorist threat.

Sheriff’s deputies say Hayes called Claysville School in Marshall County on Monday afternoon and said he was going to burn the school down.

School officials say they aren’t sure what prompted the threat.  Claysville was put on lockdown as a precaution, along with several other county schools too.

Hayes is being held on $100,000 bond.
