HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – A multiple-car wreck has led to a traffic back up on Interstate 565.

Five vehicles were involved in the wreck on the eastbound side of the interstate near the County Line Road exit.

Traffic is backed up past Mooresville Road heading toward Huntsville.

However, traffic had started to move slowly as of 6:30 a.m.

The vehicles, which sustained significant damage, have been removed from the road.

There are reports of minor injuries.

WHNT News 19’s Robert Reeves says drivers could get off at the Mooresville exit, go through Greenbrier and get back on interstate at County Line Road.
