MORGAN COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) – Alabama State Troopers have released the name of a man who died in a one-vehicle wreck Thursday night in south Morgan County.

State Troopers and the Massey Volunteer Fire Department responded to the wreck just before 10:00 p.m. Thursday. The wreck happened on Pleasant View Road in the Massey area.

Troopers say Jeremy Wayne Glenn, 39, died when the 2003 Kia in which he was a passenger left Pleasant View Road about two miles south of Danville.  It went through a barbed wire fence, knocked down several posts and overturned.  Glenn was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the vehicle, troopers said.  He died at the scene.

The driver of the Kia, Ronnie Lee Cornelius, 54, of Falkville was also thrown from the car.  He was taken to an area hospital for treatment.  We understand his injuries were serious.

State Troopers are still investigating the cause of the crash.
