The U.S. Space & Rocket Center in partnership with Rocket City Mom is hosting the 2014 Learning Expo on Saturday, February 8th, from 10AM to 3PM at the Davidson Center.

Parents and students alike will be able to explore local educational options at the expo booths set up underneath the Saturn V Rocket. Representatives from local independent schools, preschools, and homeschooling organizations will be present to answer questions and give details about their programs.

The day is also filled with entertainment and informative sessions so the whole family will get something from the experience. Eco-magician and musician Steve Trash will be headlining the expo with performances at 10AM and 2PM. Several popular Q&A sessions from last year’s expo will return this year including sessions like “How to Homeschool in Alabama” and “Preparing Your Child for Kindergarten.” New presentations this year include “Saving for College: The 529 Plan Explained” and “Strategies for your Non-Traditional Learner”.

The Learning Expo is free and open to the public. Attendees should enter at the Davidson Center for Space Exploration Saturn V Hall.
