MADISON, Ala. (WHNT) - Madison Police are asking for information about a man wanted in a recent attempted kidnapping.

Police are looking for Pedro Barragan, a Hispanic male.  He is 39 years old and has brown eyes and a shaved head.  Police say he is a brick layer and may be working at a local construction site.

Police say they responded to a domestic violence call on Sunday, January 5, where Barragan was listed as the offender.  Police say he left in a blue 1999 Ford Crown Victoria, which was reported stolen.

He may still be driving that car, which has an Alabama license plate with the number 47A66AO.

Police say Barragan is considered armed and dangerous.
