Tim Tebow Hired as College Football Analyst

Tim Tebow was a star quarterback at Florida.

Tim Tebow will join ESPN as a college football analyst for the SEC Network, according to CBSSports.com.

Tebow will work primarily for SEC Nation – a traveling pregame show – starting in August of 2014. Before that, he’ll make his debut during coverage of the BCS National Championship between Florida State and Auburn.

According to a news release he will also contribute to Sportscenter and College Football Live.

Here are more details as reported by ESPN via CBSSports.com:

Through a multi-year agreement, Tebow’s primary role will be as an analyst for SEC Nation, the network’s traveling pregame show that will originate from a different SEC campus each week beginning August 28, 2014. In the months leading up to launch and after, he will contribute to a variety of ESPN platforms including SportsCenter, ESPN Radio, and the network’s Heisman Trophy coverage, offering in-depth perspective as a legendary Southeastern Conference player.
