Many times when people think about adopting they hesitate because of what they ‘think’ it will cost.  Reality, the cost of adopting could be so reasonable that in some cases, the state of Alabama will help you cover the cost if you adopt children from state custody.

“In Alabama, we have some legislation coming up this next year that will allow adoptive parents a special tax credit if they will adopt intra state with agencies within the state.” Governor Robert Bentley said.

An added incentive to adopt local

“We want to encourage people to adopt children, when you have an adopted child there’s no difference with a biological child or an adoptive child you love them the same.” Governor Robert Bentley said.  His passion for waiting children is personal.

“We know this from our own experience in our family we love our adoptive family just like we love our natural children in fact we never think of that.”
