HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) - Huntsville Police confirm they have taken a man into custody following an armed robbery at China House on Old Madison Road in Huntsville Friday night.

That's at 6212 Old Madison Pike.

Police say a white male with black hair, armed with a handgun, entered China House around 9:30 Friday night. Investigators say he had a mask and was wearing a hoodie.

No injuries were reported.

It was exactly one week ago the Subway Restaurant next-door was robbed at gunpoint. Police say the suspect description is the same and they are investigating to see if the same person is responsible for both robberies.

Our jails are NOT overcrowded. They need to put many more in there. As long as there is a empty piece of concrete(floor), there’s room for another. Also, take away the TV and other luxuries. Hand them The Bible and a blanket, and slam the door. Amen…

@ preacher…. so would you minister to them while they are on that concrete floor with their Bibles? Prison Ministry???? False prophet you may be!!

The criminals I am speaking to are the ones that keep coming back most of their lives. I speak the truth. I worked in the county jail in the 1990’s and know what i’m talking about. Some folks “choose” to be evil criminals. They are the ones that should be “warehoused” in our Penal system. Yes, my church has a prison ministry @ LCF. The local jail has ministries also. You can lead a mule to water, but you can’t make him “drink”. I still see the same people coming to jail that I dealt with 20+ years ago. I check the “jail log” through the sheriff dept. People make mistakes. I have made my share of them. But for the Grace of God, I could have ended up there many years ago. I now choose to live my life for Christ and I pray you will do the same. Career criminals are the people I was speaking about. I am pleased to set the record straight. Amen…

Another “Breaking News” that happened Friday and here it is Sunday. I get tired of all the “Breaking News” stories that aren’t “breaking” at all.

PREACHER…take away the tv and ‘luxuries’!! you’ve never been to jail, WAIT WHEN THE ‘OPPORTUNITY’ COMES FOR YOU. don’t wish it for you but don’t talk about something you have no clue about. i hope someone meets u with ‘open’ hands.

please find a way to give these ‘criminals’ jobs! what do u expect some one who’s been convicted of a felony to do when he can’t be given a job to survive on??? i mean, some of these criminals come out of the system with good intentions but when ‘society’ ties their hands about what they can do to live, everybody’s up in arms about why robberies and break ins are happening at the rate they do now. Society THINK.
    I’m so reserved on this.
