UPDATE: Man Arrested For Making Bomb Threats at Limestone County Business

TANNER, Ala. (WHNT) – Limestone County Sheriff deputies make an arrest connected to a series of bomb threats at a Tanner business.

Decatur resident James David Sanford was taken into custody late Wednesday. Police say Sanford is an employee at Carpenter Technology, the Limestone County business evacuated twice this week due to bomb threats.

Carpenter Technology was evacuated around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday. Police checked the building and gave employees the ‘all clear’ about an hour later.

Employees were sent home for the rest of the day.

There was another bomb threat made at the same business Wednesday that resulted in another evacuation.

Carpenter Technology is on Thomas Hammons Road, just off Highway 31.  The workers were moved outside while police searched the premises.
