One Person Critically Hurt in Wreck on Hwy. 79

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) – Two people were hurt, one of them critically, in a wreck Tuesday afternoon on Highway 79 North between Guntersville and Scottsboro.

It happened about 3:30 p.m. near Waterfront Grocery.

Two cars collided, and two people were taken to Huntsville Hospital for treatment.

The wreck is causing a traffic backup.  We understand a school bus is stuck in the traffic, carrying students from Claysville Elementary.
